It's been a day for surprises. At 7:30 am my sister Jennifer rang me from Sydney to say she would be on the lunch-time train and will stay the night. Not overly surprised, she did say she would try to come to visit. It's been over a year I think. So today I won't get too much done on my site.
Then at 8 am a knock on the door and it was my aunt and uncle that I haven't seen for around 2 years (possibly longer). I was so embarrassed all I could think about was how messy the house is. Granted, it's school holidays and a messy house is part of that, but also I've spent the last few days sitting at this computer and little else has been done around the house. Enough to get me off my arse and do some housework. Thank God mum also lives here in Junee and they were heading there so I didn't have to invite them in for coffee, my poor auntie would have had a fit, and certainly noticed everything out of place.
So today, I might even turn my baby off and just do the motherly thing all day.
