More on Random Entries and using MySql Query

My previous post about this subject can be viewed here. So much for thinking this code worked properly. It did for pages that were in my main directory. Viewing archived entries that were saved to a different directory gave an error, because the function calls for a path to the sql query and since I use php-includes for the side-bar, the path was different. One way to get around this would have been to hard code everything onto the templates, but an easier solution was to use David Raynes MultiBlog with his Random Entries plugin. Now the random quotes can be viewed from anywhere in my site and it seems a far easier solution.
