I've been hearing all about the bargains some of my friends are finding on E-Bay so I did a search on there this morning for NR (no reserve). I ended up buying a pack of 50DVD-R blank disks for $1.75 postage & handling another $19), but how cheap is that! Then I bid on a new 6-piece 4000W 5.1 Surround Sound for the PC or DVD. I got it for 99c. Probably another $20 for postage. I'm over the moon. I'm bidding on a 256 MB memory stick now, it's up to $5.50 and I'll go $10 but no higher. It's only a bargain if you need it.
Another interesting plugin I looked at today was Text Tidy. A text-formatting plugin that uses HTML Tidy to make valid XHTML and HTML for blog entries in Moveable Type. If I've installed everything correctly I should have valid XHTML all the time. I'm currently using Markdown, but I've noticed a few line breaks that haven't been formatted properly, etc. Be careful to check over cut and paste items because you can be sure there's something in there that isn't valid.
Note: Something went wrong here- when I recompiled after selecting HTML Tidy as the text-formatter, my index page showed only headings and posted items. Perhaps it's only good for condensing a too-big first page.
