My day was very busy. First thing this morning I had the typing test and my fingers were actually trembling while I was trying to type. I must have been more nervous than I thought. I had to show them I could make a table and format it correctly, which was no drama. I'm one of four selected for the interviews to be held next week, so fingers crossed, all goes well.
I'm still waiting to hear from the bank but I have a good feeling about it. Today Carly helped me to move all the potted plants from the side verandah around to the front, and you can hardly move for plants out there. It looks like a tropical paradise. I've sat a chair amongst it because it looks so inviting. It will be a beautiful spot for my morning cuppa during winter.
Both of my E-Bay purchases arrived today and I was impressed with the quick response. The surround sound speakers have all the coloured plugs for a 5.1 sound card (which I don't own) so I did a quick search to get an idea of the price which ranged from $30 USD to £35 UK. Another quick search, this time on E-Bay and I got a new one with 12 months warranty for $16.50 AUD. Rapt. I should have it by Friday.
