Still Packing

Remember...
In multitudes of words...
Surely some mistakes.
Master Chen Hai Yang

Heading on to midnight and I must get to bed, but there's something addictive about having my daily say. It's been another busy day, first searching around town for more boxes and then packing and the trek to the shed and back. We're back to a drastic box situation again. I rang a removalist this morning to see about used boxes, and he wanted $5 each. I nearly choked. That's when I decided to drop in on a few businesses. I came home with a boot-full, but will need that many again. Getting there though.

HappinessThe builder never arrived today, but nor has the money in the bank, and he's anxious to order the timber. It's all so stressful, I've had headaches every night. To top it off I spent several hours yesterday helping my friend get rid of his trojans. It's called the HTML.SMIT.FRAUD.c and it generates heaps more trojans, or lets them in, or something. Every time we cleaned the computer, and tried the internet to see if they were still lurking, the blank page was back, the dialer had changed the username and password and connect telephone number. I was flat out changing things back before it could beat me to it. Whatever was going on was not getting cleaned out. From about threats to start with, we went to 25, to 44, to 70, to 150. I ran every product I could think of to clear the buggers out. Sypware Doctor, AVG, Ad-Aware Pro, Search & Destroy all failed to completely clean the computer, because they kept coming back. Some little hook that was overlooked perhaps. You have to admire the trickiness of these virus and trojan writers, and commiserate for such a wasted calling. The little braggers are out there laughing at our expense. I've been reading how to clean the computer up all night, and I'll try and get there tomorrow with the fixes I've downloaded.

Albert Einstein

"Strange is our situation here upon the earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to divine a purpose."
