Remember...
The door to virtue...
Heavy and hard to push.

The index page seems to be working, but only for recent posts (like today). Random photos are not working, so I'll need to look at that!
The good news today is Emily and Kai getting married in February. Looks like I'll have to start saving. They plan 5 days on the Gold Coast with a small wedding there. The package sounds good and we'll have to arrange transport, plane fares will cost an extra $800, so a free rail trip may be the go. We'd have to leave a day earlier than everyone else, but it looks like we may get our trip to Queensland sooner than expected.
Work is going wonderfully with plenty to learn. It's a busy Local Council and I'm learning all about development consents and approvals, customer service requests, and lots more. The job only goes until December, so when it comes up for review I'll just have to tell them I want a week off in February. I'll be owed it by then.
We moved back home last Tuesday night and we're still without carpet or loungeroom furniture, but It's great to be home. The renovations went beautifully, and now I have a new kitchen and double sized lounge-room. I'm surrounded by boxes yet to be unpacked, and everything needs cleaning, and there's plasterers dust everywhere. The new walls and paint are beautiful. The house looks like new on the inside, next Tuesday the carpet will be laid and will get rid of the echo.
Zeke is the centre of attention when I go to Wagga. Carly and Alex love to visit, and me too- Nanna. He doesn't do much besides eat, sleep and cry but Lauren seems to be right into the new-mother routine. She's looking content. Daniel is the very proud father who walks around with a big grin on his face all the time.
Carly and Alex have gone to Canberra with their father for the weekend and I can sleep in tomorrow without having to worry about the football or anything else. It's been so long since I laid in without a need to be somewhere.
