Winter's Upon Us

Remember...
Honest scales and full measure
Hurt no man.

We've been very lucky with such beautiful days this winter, but today was bitterly cold and it's snowing not far away. The house is lovely and warm, there's a clothes dryer going, and it's homey inside tonight. The carpet and vinyl will get finished tomorrow, and we have tiles on the bathroom floor now, but the door is off (great for showers), but we do have lounge and dining furniture now. It's a pleasure to eat a meal at the table again. New rule: No eating over the new carpet, all eating to be at the dining table!! Carly reminded me she was not a child, but she sat at the table nevertheless.

The older we get the younger old is.Alex is all excited about going to the Trent Barrett Shield football game at Cootamundra next week. He's disappointed I can't be a driver now that I'm working. Last year I went to everything that they were in. The advantages of being home all day and able to go along to all the school doings is gone.

I'm doing a crash course at work on Microsoft Outlook. Learning a few more intricate tricks, like creating reports using categories, creating user forms, something I love to do. I've switched to Outlook on my home computer so I can spend more time using it and I'm finding it an invaluable tool. I didn't particularly like it previously, I don't think the older version would allow Hotmail accounts, and so I opted for the fancy Incredimail program.
