Happy Home Computing

|

My computer died because the power supply unit had burnt out, and after worrying for a while if there was any damage to the motherboard, all's well and the box now has a new psu and extra fan, so should hang in there for a while longer. After unplugging cords from nearly every available location I realised that may have been the problem: I was over-loading the system. RAM is still on my wishlist and my apologies to the people at Crucial.

On the work front, I didn't get the job. Of the 10 applicants I was the 2nd choice, so it's lucky I liked the job I already had. I'll still do the course and learn all about mapping and GIS and how to use the mapping software better.

Lao-Tzu

"A tree that can fill the span of a man's arms grows from a downy tip; A terrace nine storeys high rises from handfuls of earth; A journey of a thousand miles starts from beneath one's feet."
