My computer has died after using a tool called Crucial System Scanner
The tool couldn't recommend anything, and after going back to my laptop, my network dropped out and off I went into the bedroom to see what was going on with the computer. It was off. When I pressed the power button to turn it back on - nothing. No power. I'm blaming Crucial for the problem because it was the last thing I did on the computer before it died. I can't think what else it could be. Perhaps it fried my RAM, but then I would expect some power in the box. There's nothing. I tried swapping cords but it made no difference.
I've had to install the modem/router and the Wireless Access Point onto the laptop so I can have internet access, and let the other computers in the house connect. So far there's problems. This one is working fine, there's no internet access on the other computers, but there's network access. Life in the networking field is never an easy one.
