Rev-Fest in Wagga

Remember...
The full teapot...
Makes no sound.
Master Chen Hai Yang

I took Carly and Alex to a Rev-Fest in Wagga yesterday after they played Touch footy. There were non-stop burnouts while we were there so you can imagine the smoke and smells. Some of the cars on show were works of art. The restorations were incredible. A couple of performance cars had the crowd going wild, the high-pitched squeal of the engine and the smoke pouring off the cars was unreal. A bumper sticker that caught my eye was Real Men Smoke Rubber. Had to laugh. Lauren and Zeke came and we all walked from Emily's house. I took off my shoes to walk there because I thought I was getting a blister on my toe, and ended up with blisters from the heat of the footpath on the soles of my feet. I've been limping around all day today, and wondering how I'll go at work tomorrow. Next time we arrange to go somewhere I'll remember to wear sensible shoes.

Talented Artist at www.yourwebness.comI came across some interesting graphic art at Yourwebness. There's tutorials using Paint Shop Pro that teaches you all the techniques for creating your own framed graphics and tags. There's so many interesting things on the Internet I'm sure I'll end up an old hunch-back who's soaked up heaps of useless information, or perhaps I'll get out and garden next weekend and not sit in front of the computer.
