We decided to clean a keyboard on the weekend, and it's taken 3 days to get it to work again. When you clean a keyboard it's quite okay to pull all the keys out, except the spacebar. Somebody should have mentioned that first. It's an IBM Rapid Access Keyboard, with lots of extra buttons to enable you to have special shortcuts, and although it's working, it's not quite right. I read an excellent tutorial on how to clean a keyboard, with step by step instructions. My thanks to David Bivens for a great tutorial. I still have a sticky 0 key on the numpad, and there's errors trying to open programs, but we're getting there. I won't be so quick to pull a keyboard apart again in a hurry.
