Remember...
Do not pray for gold...
Pray for good children and happy grandchildren.

Happy Easter to all those people who celebrate Easter. It's Easter Sunday and we're doing the family thing today. Any excuse for a family get-together! Carly and Alex slept at their father's house last night and I picked them up after lunch. We then went to visit their grandparents to give them an easter egg each, had a cuppa there and came home to clean up a little bit so the house is respectable for when Emily and Kai come over for tea. I'm cooking baked chicken and vegetables, and it's been a while since we've had a baked tea so I'm looking forward to it.
Lauren and Daniel are in Griffith for a week so I sent them a text message today, wishing them a happy easter. Daniel sent one back to say that Zeke has taken 12 steps in a row. Lauren is working in Griffith for the week and Zeke and Daniel have gone with her.
I'm loving the days home from work. I've managed to completely re-do my Junee Magic website, and did a link check before I uploaded all the new files to the server. It's interesting to note how many sites just disappear over time. There were a few broken links but I managed to fix most of them, and delete the ones that are no longer available. It's been an exhausting couple of weeks since I started the makeover, and I split the reference section into tutorials and references. I have loads more pages I could add to them and over time I'll probably do that. Just getting the look right was the more important thing. I've also updated some of the content and got rid alot of the advertisements.
We've had a rather sad week leading up to Easter. My brother Graham's ex-girlfriend killed herself last Tuesday night in his car after a failed attempt on Monday night. She was put into a psychiatric ward at the hospital on Tuesday, got out and did it again. This time there was no-one around to save her. She used a hose from the exhaust into the window and knew exactly what she wanted to do. Needless to say it's been devastating for Graham and everyone who knew her. I didn't particularly like her myself, and after I was told about the first attempt I made the comment: "Pity she didn't do the job properly", only to be told on Wednesday night that she had. I'm feeling like a real heartless bitch at the moment.
