Touch Footy Trials in Albury

|

Remember...
He who rules by cruelty...
Must sleep lightly or long.
Master Chen Hai Yang

I haven't written anything personal on this blog for a while and it has to do with my fast-growing other blogs. I read so many more weblogs these days that I don't end up with much time to write a post. I always wish I'd remembered to gather snippets while I'm browsing, (Firefox has this feature) instead of having to wade through the history to get the page links.

I've also been quite busy with work and children. Today I had a rostered day off work and took Alex and his team-mate to Albury for a touch football trials day to see if they would play in the Riverina team. Alex wasn't picked but about 6 Junee boys were selected for the Possibles and Probables. We were all up early this morning as it took and hour and a half to drive there. Tonight I'm tired and I've still got clothes in the dryer.

I've been saving up my favourite images from Webshots for the last couple of weeks and thought I'd share them with you. They make super wallpapers.

Akhenaton

"If thou would'st preserve understanding and health to old age, avoid the allurements of Voluptuousness, and fly from her temptations - For if thou hearkenest unto the words of the Adversary, thou art deceived and betrayed. The joy which she promiseth changeth to madness, and her enjoyments lead on to diseases and death."

:: (~1362BC) Monotheist, King of Egypt (1379-62BC)
