Remember...
We dream a thousand new paths...
We wake and walk the old ones.

The kids have been on school holidays again for the last 2 weeks, and I've organised to have Friday as an RDO so I can spend some time with them. There's a skate competition on Friday afternoon and Alex is quite excited, this time he has his bike to ride. Last school holidays there was a skate comp and he had no bike so he borrowed a scooter and won the scooter section. I'm sure he thinks he's a good candidate to win the bike section this time. Just ask him, he'll tell you how good he is. Because I've been working every day, the kids have done pretty much as they like. Today I got home from work and Carly had pierced Alex's ear. I made him take the earring out and I'm disappointed that he got her to do it after I'd said no earlier in the week. I know kids younger than Alex have their ears pierced, but there's a principle here.
Last night Alex had his friend Roy sleep over and we watched a couple of movies. I enjoyed the new X-Men 3 that Roy brought with him but the quality was terrible as it hasn't been released yet. After X-Men we watched the latest Superman Returns. This one I downloaded, coverted and put on a DVD and the quality was excellent, but it was in wide screen. Our favourite joke at the moment is "Why is a pirate a pirate? Because they Aaaar!!!". Alex doesn't get it.
Here's a few more of my favourite downloads from Webshots.
