The Billy Lids

Snails can be found under stones in fields or gardens and on the side of garden walls during the summer. They should always be kept in a moist atmosphere - put some damp soil in the jar with them.

Snails feed maily at night, so give them some fresh green leaves each evening. Stick insects can be bought from some pet shops. They are usually fed on privet leaves - but ask the shopkeeper.
