The Playground

I couldn't resist! The price was fantastic, under $300 AU and the size blew me away. This very sleek looking external hard drive is the perfect backup solution. I have just under 1 TB in 3 drives on my computer, but was running out of space with all the movies on the system. I had movie folders eating up the space on every drive, so I transferred the lot (over 80) to the My Book and still had plenty of room to do a backup of my XP install, and using Acronis True Image I've set it up to do daily incremental backups. I'll do something similar with the Vista install.

The My Book is a Western Digital hard drive that connects with USB. Installation is a snap because you don't really install this drive, you just plug it in and it's ready to use.
