One Tough Camper!

This is from up in the Yukon, where polar bears are known to roam. This guy is lucky to be alive. The guy survived a bear attack. The bear jumped on him while he was sleeping in his tent and he managed to get it off of him and shoot it.

Injuries from trying to get away from a polar bear

That is on chatty foot. Poor guy. Did he loose the foot?

Makes me cringe at the sight of that foot.

Amanda, Not only do you not know how to write or spell, you also don’t know squat about bears. Bears do attack even if they haven’t been provoked, when defending a carcass, trying to steal a carcass, defending their territory or their cubs, and even with the bear stalking a human or humans. There are plenty of examples of this happening to people who have done nothing to “provoke” the bear, and have made their presence known. You need to educate yourself about the realities of bear encounters before you challenge others or go spouting off about the issue. A great source for info is “Bear Attacks: The Deadly Truth,” published in 1998, by an expert in the field, James Gary Shelton

According to the first link, the only mistake is that the attack took place in some Canadian province, not in the Yukon. Scary anyway.

do you mean some Chinese Provence? because the Yukon is a Candian Provence, well actually a territory.
